We're Going Digital! Our Journal, North Carolina Insight, Gets Its Own Site

The Center has a long history of providing research, information, and analysis on important public policy issues through its journal, North Carolina Insight. Today, we are excited to unveil a new online site for our flagship product.

This new vehicle enables us to provide a richer online experience, especially for our mobile readers.  As we move forward, we will incorporate more audio, video, and storytelling into the site along-side our research and analysis.  And, we have made it easier for you to share the information with others.

Beginning today, we are rolling out our latest issue, entitled Serving Our Seniors.

  • Today and tomorrow, we take a look at long-term care issues facing older adults and highlight long-term care programs in NC.
  • On Monday, we will roll out our article comparing the aging population across OECD countries.
  • Tuesday's topic is aging and financial security -- a look at public and private pension plans.
  • On Wednesday, we'll post an article on North Carolina's Aging Services Plan -- Are we on track?
  • And on Thursday and Friday, we will wrap-up the issue by examining legislation to combat elder fraud and highlight an interview with David Kirkman, Special Deputy Attorney General, in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General.

If you miss a day, don't worry.  We will be highlighting research and information on issues affecting North Carolina's aging population over the next few weeks.

We hope you find this new site engaging and informative.  Click here to visit the site
