Center Launches New Website

The North Carolina Center for Public Policy Research welcomes you to the unveiling of its new Website!  As part of the Center’s Strategic Plan, the Board began a Technology Initiative to make accessible all of the research and expertise of the Center to citizens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We want to be your “go-to” site for information on public policy issues facing North Carolina.  Citizens, nonprofits, the media, donors, and policymakers will now have access to all 34 years of our policy research through the Internet when they need it. We also have tools to help you better understand how the policy process works and ways to affect policy.

The Technology Initiative and this website would not be possible without our funding partners. We thank The Winston-Salem Foundation, Foundation For The Carolinas, the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, the Cumberland Community Foundation, The Janirve Foundation, and the N.C. Cable Telecommunications Association for their grants for this Initiative.  We also want to thank these companies which either donated equipment, or services, or both - Cisco Systems, IBM Corporation, Alphanumeric Systems, and Active Data Systems.  Finally, we want to recognize and thank Web designer hesketh.com for their work and support in launching this new Website.

As we continue adding content, we really need your feedback to help us make the Website as useful as possible to you. You can use the comment box at the bottom, or email your comments to Nancy Rose at rosebud@nccppr.org
