Rupen R. Fofaria is a reporter for EdNC. He grew up in Garner, NC and went to school at Washington Elementary, Ligon Middle and Enloe High Schools before receiving his B.A. in Journalism from the University of Maryland and J.D. with Honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Rupen is an award-winning journalist and former staff writer at The Orlando Sentinel, The Raleigh News & Observer and ESPN.com. His passion is storytelling and shining light on untold and under-reported issues.
